In 1984 President Reagan issued a Presidential proclamation, designating January 22nd (the anniversary of Roe. v. Wade) as National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, declaring it a day to honor the intrinsic value God places on the unborn. Reagan issued another proclamation, annually designating the third Sunday in January as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. In the 34 years since then, churches and pregnancy centers across our nation have gathered together in one voice, standing up for life and giving a voice to the voiceless.
